Naam Jap Companion is a 100% offline, privacy-focused spiritual app. We do NOT collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data, spiritual counts, or device identifiers.

Welcome to Naam Jap Companion ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how our application operates, how your data is handled, and your privacy rights when using our mobile application.

We do not collect any Personal Identifying Information (PII).

All data generated while using the app—including your daily Jap counts, Mala counts, streak history, custom mantras, Aarti notes, and app preferences—is stored locally on your device using secure local storage (SharedPreferences / device filesystem).

3. How Your Data Is Stored & Used

Because your data remains exclusively on your device, it is used solely for the following offline features:

• Saving your daily Naam Jap progress, Mala counts (108 beads), and daily streak history.
• Persisting your custom mantras, text size settings, theme choices, and daily goal preferences.
• Exporting or importing local backup files (.json) when initiated explicitly by you.

4. Permissions Requested

The app may request the following device permissions only when required to provide specific offline features:

• Storage / File Access (Optional): Required only if you choose to manually export or import your data backup file .

5. Third-Party Services & Analytics

Naam Jap Companion does not sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties. The app operates completely offline without tracking software, user profiling, or third-party analytics SDKs.

6. Data Security & Backups

Since all data is stored locally on your device, your data security depends on your device's security settings (e.g., screen lock, encryption). You can create local backups of your Jap history at any time using the built-in Data Backup feature and save them safely to your personal storage.

7. Children's Privacy

Our application is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or any user.

8. Data Deletion & Control

You have total control over your data. You can erase all app data, custom mantras, and history at any time by clearing the app data in your device settings or by uninstalling the application.
